North Carolina Leads Four ACC Teams at #5 in AP Poll: Jan 30th, 2012

Four teams from the ACC find a home in this week's AP Top 25 poll. They are North Carolina at #5, Duke (#7), Virginia (#16), and Florida State (#21).

North Carolina moves up two spots in the poll following a week that began with a win at home over NC State, 74-55. After that came another win at home against Georgia Tech, 93-81.

Duke moves up one position after wins against St. John's, 83-76 and Maryland, 74-61. Virginia moves up three spots after wins against NC State, 61-60 and Boston College, 66-49. Florida State moves up two places after a win against Wake Forest, 75-52. Gonzaga breaks into the Top 25 at #24 with a win at Portland, 74-62. Vanderbilt comes in at #25 with wins against Middle Tennessee State, 84-77 and Tennessee, 65-47. Kansas State falls out of the Top 25 this week with a win at Texas Tech, 69-47 and an upset loss at home to Oklahoma, 63-60. Connecticut drops out after a loss to Notre Dame, 50-48.
